Set Up Mobile Key on a New Phone
Before you start
If possible, keep your old phone nearby. Make sure you can access your BPI‑registered SIM and that your phone number can receive verification messages.
Activation flow
Download the BPI app on the new device, log in, and follow the in‑app prompts to activate Mobile Key. The app may ask you to verify using your previous device or through secure SMS.
After activation
Once Mobile Key is active, test a low‑risk action like viewing balances, then proceed to transfers and bill payments. If prompts repeat, restart the app and complete any pending registration steps.
Everyday Account Access
Transfer funds and pay bills from within the app. Follow any security prompts to confirm sensitive actions.
Use QR payments when available to complete transactions without cash. Keep Mobile Key ready for approvals when required.
